Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (Continuation)

Hi,
So here I continue with my redesign of the Alfa 33 Stradale, after a much time since the first post, finally I decided it was time to post the rear view.
Planning to do more different views and go to 3D and model it

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale redesign

This weekend while reading some car articles on the internet I found one about the classic Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, which is said to be one of the most beautiful cars of all time, and in my opinion, it certainly is.

So, I decided to try and make a modern redesign of it, and after working on it on Sunday afternoon, here is the result!

Now I am working on the other views in order to make a kind of little project with it, but I couldn´t wait to post this view as I haven´t uploaded anything since a lot of time.

SEAT IBr

This is the latest project I have done, for a design competition organized by "Auto bild" magazine and SEAT, where they asked to design the SEAT of the year 2020.

For my project my principal objective was to create a continuity on the actual SEAT design language but at the same time make it more modern and fluid. Apart from that, the reason why I chose a sports car was to reinforce the brand image of sportiness and emotion.
The design is also focused on efficiency, creating an aerodynamic body with just the necessary air intakes for cooling the engines, which close automatically in case they are not needed, and shapes that help guide the air through the car in an efficient way to reduce drag, and all this in an attractive body!

Bentley Speed 8 illustration

Aquí dejo la última ilustración que he hecho, esta con un poco mas de "acción" ya que las otras eran algo mas estáticas. Como se puede ver se trata del Bentley Speed 8 de 2001 que corrió las 24 horas de Le Mans, uno de los dos coches terminó tercero mientras que el otro abandonó.

Geneva Auto Show 2011- Part 2

Bueno pues, ahora que he vuelto de las vacaciones de verano ya va siendo hora de añadir una nueva entrada al blog y seguiré con mi repaso al salón del automóvil de Ginebra.

Bugatti Veyron SuperSport

Y para volver a coger ritmo, empezare con una bestia, el Bugatti Veyron SuperSport de 1200 caballos y más de 430 km/h (limitados a 415 por seguridad). Tengo que decir que nunca antes había podido ver un Veyron en vivo y tenía muchas ganas de estar ante él por lo que supone para el mundo del motor. En mi opinión es un coche que muy seguramente pueda marcar el fin de coches de éste estilo, creados para batir récords, considerados por muchos como locuras extravagantes, pero es gracias a éstas locuras por las que los coches de hoy en día son como son, cada vez más seguros, rápidos, eficientes... y es que si nadie se atreviese a superarse constantemente no habría evolución y eso es lo que coches como éstos consiguen, superar lo anterior y marcar nuevas metas.

Lamborghini Miura Illustration

Bueno pues, como ya dije aquí está mi último dibujo, una ilustración del clásico Lamborghini Miura, uno de mis coches favoritos. La ilustración está hecha en Photoshop a lo largo de dos dias, para éste me he cogido mas tiempo para conseguir el mejor resultado posible.

As I said before, here is my latest drawing, a Lamborghini Miura illustration, one of my all time favourite cars. The illustration has been done using Photoshop in the last two days, I could have done it in less time but I wanted to achieve a good result.

BMW CSL Race Car Illustration

Éste es un dibujo que hice, en este caso un coche ya existente, un BMW CSL de carreras. El dibujo esta hecho con Photoshop en aproximadamente un par de horas o tres, es el primer dibujo de este tipo que hago por lo que con mas practica conseguiré mejores resultados y en menor tiempo.

Ahora estoy trabajando en otro que subiré uno de estos días, solo diré que se trata de un clásico y uno de los coches mas bonitos que se han fabricado.
